Islamkids.org is a not-for-profit organisation and is run completely on a voluntary basis. This website has been developed by Ms Salina Begum and Dr Mahibur Rahman in order to provide an online Islamic educational resource for parents and children. We hope that children can learn the basics of Islam and build a foundation for seeking further knowledge.

We hope to engage children of varying ages and therefore, some may find the site harder to navigate than others and will, therefore, need assistance by an older person.

It is an interactive resource in many ways. Children can use the mouse to answer questions as they go along and they can play educational games as a revision tool. It is also an opportunity for parents to sit with their kids and help them, not only with with the modules, but also be there to answer further questions that may arise about Islam. Some issues are touched upon within the modules that may require further explanation by an adult.
